In the heart of your community

Stifford Clays Social Club was founded in 1960. It is affiliated to the Club and Institute Union and is a registered member of The Friendly Society.

Therefore, we are a non profit making concern, owned by our membership and administrated by a management committee elected by it.

The club was founded in 1960 and the old club building was opened on the last Friday in November that year. The club then moved into the new larger premises, within existing club land boundaries in June 1998.

We pride ourselves on being a family club and as such follow the original C&I Union principles.

Various events for the children of the membership are held throughout the year such as an outing in the summer and a Christmas party / pantomime.

An annual dinner and dance is organised for the adults on the last Friday in November. The date held, maintains the link to our founding.

In addition to these events, various factions within the club also organise other outings, such as horse racing days, holidays, long week ends away etc.

Stifford Clays Social Club is a family club, with a friendly atmosphere, staying true to tradition.
